    Rye Accommodation Apartment to Rent

The historic town of Rye offers plenty to do and see for a mid week break or week long stay.
16 The Boat House is a first floor one bedroom quayside apartment on the banks of the River Brede in Rye, East Sussex. An allocated on-site parking space provides a rare luxury so close to the cobbled streets of this beautiful medieval market town. Ideal for two people, but the lounge area has a comfortable double sofa-bed, with sufficient bed linen, towels, crockery and cutlery provided to sleep four all included in the price.
    Bird Watching

The marshland to the east of Rye (Romney Marsh) is a twitchers paradise where a huge variety of seabirds can be found in their natural habitat. Just a short distance away is the Nature Reserve at Rye Harbour and a little further on is the RSPB Reserve at Dungeness. Dont forget your camera and binoculars!
    Cycling

Two adults 21-gear mountain bikes are provided for use by guests (lights, helmets, etc. are recommended but not provided). Why not pack up a picnic and a bottle of wine and explore the easy flat countryside and villages of Romney Marsh. Or for the more experienced rider, the towns of Tenterden to the north, Hastings to the west and New Romney to the east are realistic destinations.
    Walking

The surrounding area is criss-crossed with footpaths allowing easy access to some beautiful countryside that you just wouldnt see from the road. An Ordinance Survey map and a compass are provided to make sure you dont get lost.
    History

As one of the Cinque Port towns, Rye is steeped in history dating back to 1066 and beyond. The fairytale castle and moat at Bodiam, the abbey and battle site at Battle, the clifftop castle at Hastings are just a short drive away. Within Rye itself there are many fine examples of historic buildings from the Ypres Castle (parts of which date back to the 13th Century) to Lamb House (1722) and the old 15th Century Mermaid Inn.
    Antiques

Why not while away an afternoon browsing the many antiques shops around the town and down near the quayside. Haggle for a bargain or two and take home something to remember your stay.
    Shopping

The town of Rye has a wide variety of shops that would satisfy most people, but for the serious shopper, the Designer Outlet Centre at Ashford is just 30 minutes away. With the Channel Tunnel terminal only 40 minutes away, why not bring your passports and hop across to Cite Europe for the day.
    Wine Tasting

No need to cross the channel to buy your wine, there are a host of local award winning vineyards within easy reach.
    Beaches

If you dont mind pebble beaches, you have Winchelsea Beach and Pett Level virtually on your doorstep, but if you want to feel the sand between your toes, Camber Sands is within easy reach offering miles of glorious sandy beach and grassy dunes.

How do you find the best apartment to rent in any city?

Posted by admin on March 1st, 2010 and filed under apartment rent | 3 Comments »

My close relative is applying for jobs in many different cities throughout California, so she is getting ready to relocate and rent an apartment close to her prospective work place. How can she find reliable, detailed the information about the living environment and the best apartments in any city or area?

The best way to find rentals is Craigslist! It’s world wide and you can find apartments locally as well! You get rentals like, apartments, condos, and townhomes! It’s in every city you can think of!

Where can I go to find an apartment to rent long term in Mallorca (Majorca) in the Balearic Islands?

Posted by admin on February 26th, 2010 and filed under apartment rent | 1 Comment »

I’m struggling to find sites that offer rentals other than holiday rentals. My husband and I are planning to move to Mallorca early next year and wish to rent a 2/3 bed apartment anywhere on the island for a maximum of 600Euros per month – any ideas on where’s best to look? Or does anyhone have a personal recommendation?

the local newspapers are always a good idea. The Spanish aren’t too up on their websites so the ones that are there are normally set up by expats and they charge UK prices. Your best bet is to go out and book a hotel for two weeks and sort it out when you get there. The one advantage to Spanish rentals is that they normally sort them out quickly although if you don’t have a job they may ask for proof that you can afford the rent and also at least a months deposit. Also you will pay more in the big holiday resorts than you do out of them. Palma isn’t cheap and also what the Spanish sometimes do is charge you more in summer and then less in winter. You need to be there to find the bargains and you may not find a real gem straight away but don’t give up good luck on your move

Can I claim my apartment monthly rent as expenses of my Home-based LLC company while filing Taxes Quarterly?

Posted by admin on February 24th, 2010 and filed under apartment rent | 2 Comments »

    Hi,

I recently registered LLC company, It’s a small Home-based business, I am the sole proprietor of this home-based small business. This LLC company does not have even one employee, I am living in a Rented apartment, Since I am running this small business in my apartment in which I am staying by paying monthly rent.

Can I claim my apartment monthly rent as expenses of my Home-based small LLC company while filing Taxes Quarterly?

There is usually a percentage of expenses that can be deducted for a home office. There are federal guidelines that have to be followed. The accounting method will also have some impact on the method used to determine what and how much can be used. it is far to vast of a question for a forum and you should seek guidance from a licensed tax attorney or CPA tax specialist.

What does it mean when you want to rent an apartment and it says the cost plus hydro?

Posted by admin on February 21st, 2010 and filed under apartment rent | 4 Comments »

My fiance and I are looking into renting an apartment. The rent is $650/month without hydro. What does this mean? What are we getting included and what do we have to pay for seperately? How much would hydro be for a 2 bedroom apartment for 2 people in a small town?

Some apartment buildings have their hydro monitored separately by apt. so they can pass the cost on to the tenant.

What that means is you will be paying your rent plus what ever hydro (electricity) you use.

They probably don’t include other utilities either, read it carefully, they may charge your for water, gas, cable etc on top of your rent.
