Very close to moving to a luxury like studio apartment, need help?

about 820$ > heat& hot water included, also includes water& trash, & electric

306$> car insurance, internet & cell

200$> food & gas…..more or less

income ranging from 1880 to 2000

would i be able to afford this? really need to know fast, b/c i’m real close to putting down an application fee and security deposit tomorrow
so its 1326$ added up

It would REALLY be pushing it…$200 is a very low monthly estimate for food alone, let alone gas at current prices. You also wouldn’t have any room for emergencies of ANY kind (health problems, car breakdowns, anything like that).
I would recommend you find a cheaper apartment. You shouldn’t pay more than $600 a month (1/3 of your low-end income) in rent with that income and those bills, especially if it’s not stable.

What’s a good price for a studio apartment in Chicago? 1 Bedroom? 2 Bedroom? And a Luxury Studio?

I never heard of a luxury studio. I guess it’s freshly rehabbed?
studio – 900 to 1300
Junior 1BR – 1200 to 1500
1bedroom – 1200 to 1900
2bedroom – 1600 up

It depends a great deal on where the apartment is located. I live in Chicago, and work in the rental market, but since I have a condo I’m a bit out of touch with the prices.
